Why you must visit Vaishno Devi at least once in your Lifetime?
Situated in the Trikuta Hills in Jammu (India), cave temple of Deity Vaishno Devi is among most revered Hindu pilgrimages sites in the country. Celebrated as Mata Rani, Vaishnavi and Trikuta; the goddess is a manifestation of Hindu Mother Goddess, Mahalakshami. The cave is believed to be the abode of 33 crore Hindu Gods, since each one of these Gods have come to worship Goddess Vaishno Mata during Aarti and have left some of their symbolic marks inside. Believed to be a million year old, the cave temple is a place where Goddess Shakti lives in the form of three natural rock formations, named as Pindis that represent the three Goddesses, Lakshmi, Saraswati and Kali. Hindus also believe that one cannot possibly seek for Darshan of Mata, unless she Herself calls her followers.
There are devotees seeking Goddess’ blessings and paying gratitude for wish fulfillment by walking bare feet and crawling up to the main bhawan. Since Vaishno Devi Mata is believed to bestow strength to the weak, sight to the blind, wealth to the poor and child to the childless couple; the shrine is counted among most visited place in spite of being an unapproachable one in regard with its location. Due to the huge belief and importance of the Vaishno Devi shrine for getting all wishes fulfilled, the shrine board has also made a lot of arrangements, such as accommodation at affordable prices, security arrangements, chopper services, etc. to keep things organized and make pilgrims’ journey trouble-free.
